Lessons learned on the road......

In her column of Tuesday, April 22, 2008, Heloise mentioned her visit to Texarkana where she was the guest speaker for the Sustainer Luncheon in 2006.  She says in her article, "In Texarkana, Texas, I spoke to the Junior League for its 80th anniversary!  The good works this group has done through the years are too many to list. 

Hint:  Like sister groups, they help young, old and less fortunate, and to it with a smile."

The Junior League of Texarkana, Inc. (JLT) is an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women and improving communities through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers.  Its purpose is exclusively educational and charitable.
